Suffering from a bout of "home"sickness,

Not helped of course by adding Paul Simon background music (Take a look at the video below for sneaky peaks of why I get homesick). The bottom line is England is our home now and most of the time I am deliciously happy here, after all it's where I got married, had my girlies and have built up some very, very special friendships. And now of course we're buying our first home BUT there is still a part of me that literally longs (I know, I know.... it sounds OTT drama queenish but true nevertheless) for Africa. There are sights and smells there that stay with one forever me thinks. And every now and again I need my fix ... desperately. So my pic for today is a layout (excuse the bad scan not much time to fidle this morning) I did of the view from the Free State of the Maluti Mountains using a photograph taken by my amazingly talented "other mum" Toopie. Check out her other photos too.

Love your music - its great!
Now as for your comment on Rach bringing you back some wedding cake, I am not sure that I can trust her with bringing it back! - we are having individual cupcakes made with white chocolate and fresh raspberry mud cake, and on the top tier of the 5 tier stand, is a 5 inch round cake.
I loved your comments about home sickness - I guess all of us that move countries and make a life somewhere else feel like that at some point. There are so many things I miss about NZ - the fish & chips, the beautiful NZ wine, Watties tomato sauce, and Tip Top ice-cream in a cone .....hmmm...
