Surely it can't be Sunday already......

Funny how the "sunday feeling" lingers. When I first came to the UK on a two year working visa I lived for a while in a flat with 4 other girls and sunday evening meant one or another weeping (the sunday blues) from a combination of homesickness, hangovers and the thought of going back to work after 48hours of partying ... aaaaaaaaahhhh those were the days. LOL Sarah has woken in a "pleasant" mood ... am trying to convince her it's far too early in the morning to be sufering the sunday blues but am not having much luck here. Oh I am sooooooooooooooooooooo in the mood to scrap ... may even attempt some today if I can persuade the ofspring to allow me a little peace and quiet. I feel like I'm going to burst if I can't create something soon (hmmm a tad theatrical I know but true nevertheless). I am feeling really impatient to move NOW?IMMEDIATELY?THIS VERY DAY!!! I have redecorated my home a thoosand times in my head now I want to do it for real. My mum has completed the girls quilts and is at this moment finishing a king sized quilt for Dave and I so we shall all be warm, snuggly Jewels this winter. Plus, did I mention I shall have a husband working days and not nights from next week ... whoooooop-de-do! Ann and Jo darlins' I had also thought of a communal pot for donations due to the transfer fees as they are exhorbitant ... I'm not too good at asking for money BUT this cause really touched my heart as obviously I know the volunteers who organise the party. My sister said what made them want to ask each child what they would like for christmas is..... a little while ago two of the children had a birthday ... one was turning two and the other was turning 9. Anyway Melly knew to buy a fun, bright toy for the 2yr old but asked the house parents what they thought the little girl would like and they suggested a towel and some toiletries. So Melly bought a fun toiletry bag with goodies inside and gave it to the little girl who thanked her. What tore at Mels' heart was the little girls face when she saw the brightly coloured toy her 2yr old friend had unwrapped but she never compalined about what she had received. To quote Mels ... "Why shouldn't every child have the opportunity to get something they want/like as opposed to something they need just once a year". Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting Oh dear I've rambled again haven't I? ...sorry dahlinks. Hope you sundays are superb. MWAH

Still, it is sunny right now & I'm off to see my best friend for a catch up chat before I do get stuck in or I will never stop... Such a hard life being creative isn't it?!
