Wahey it's friday .....

Or at least I think it is ... is it? The girlies and I had a successful trip out to get school shoes yesterday and then spent a FABULOUS afternoon at Lousette's place. The girls played beautifully together while Lou and I poured over a couple of magazines having deep dicussions about elements of layouts we liked/disliked and why. And THEN .. I got to drool and stroke her scrapbooks in the flesh, most of which I've seen before but have to look at again and again 'cos they are so delish. Last night I lay thinking about Hannah and Katie and how proud I am of my girlies and the little woman they are growing into. They are such loving, vibrant, friendly lil' peeps and I think one of their biggest assets is they are make friends easily with other sprogs of various ages and abilities, including their younger siblings. They are as happy dancing and singing along to "I'm a lil' teapot" as they are to "One Step Closer to Heaven " Now, before you think I have gone all soft .... time to balance the scales of motherly adoration ... at times these two can drive me hair pulling out crazy espesh as we have reached the pre-teen cheeky stage .... too much of "Suite Life/That's so Raven/Lizzie Maguire in their lives I think - perhaps I should go back to only allowing all things Winnie The Pooh.

Today we are heading into Bromley to search for the "perfect" schoolbag ... only a 7 year old knows what that may look like! But before we go I have to sit through the Lil' Jewels' (and I quote) "Magnificent Show" and then tidy up a gazzillion dressing up outfits and no doubt work my way through a whole packet of baby wipes trying to rid little faces of purple eyeshadow and fuschia pink lipstick.

So Lovelies, wish me luck as you wave me goodbye, here I go on my way ... tra la la

I will not hear a word said against those two beautiful elder daughters of yours, Deb!!! Darling, they look adorable in that photo - such scrummy angels. You had more luck than us in the shoe shop; Anja is measuring a 9 1/2 E, and everything is coming up too wide - I am going to have to bite the bullet and go down to a 'D' fitting at Startrite - eek!! Hope you were able to find the perfect schoolbags (something we WERE able to achieve today) and that you enjoyed the magnificent show. xx
