Just spent a FABULOUS 36 hours scrapping with some friends in Wiggly Woods at an all weekend crop organised by gorgeous Janice. Boy oh boy did we have some laughs! And guess what .. I actually scrapped and have the layouts to prove it. I shall upload pics when the light is better for taking photo's. I feel GREAT! ... the layouts I did were just for me, no fancy techniques/no themes/no new ideas .. just pages created for my scrapbook and I loved doing everyone of them. However my self image took a severe knock when Shani dahling ran screaming from the room at the thought of sharing with me #sigh# - you would think most people would pack earplugs for a Scrapbook retreat wouldn't ya, and anyway everyone snores like a wild bear don't they? ... (not sure how I will fit months of counselling into my busy schedule in the upcoming months)... however all was not lost when Debbie arrived and agreed to share with me (don't feel it's really neccessary to tell you Alison had strong armed her to the floor and threatened to set a match to all Debbies' new BG range at the time if she didn't, is it?) However I did tentatively knock on the fabulous Sally's door and bummed a squirt or two of her magic potion ... aptly named "STOP SNORING" before I went to bed on saturday.
Last night I was so excited at the thought being home and being able to give my girlies big squishes ... this morning however I'm having second thoughts and I WANNA GO BACK ... living in the real world can be so tedious sometimes ... for example Top of my list of things to do today is .... BUY NEW SOCKS ... i mean how does one inject creativity and enthusiasm into shopping for white school socks (not a ribbon/blossom/button in sight). Oh by the by, I found some scrummy backpacks for Hannah & Kate, fuschia pink canvas with great big blossom painted on ...yummmmmmy
(15mins later) Humph ... blogger will not let me upload pics... nevermind folks, as a famous person once said ...
"I'll be back ..."
