A little time to Catch up .....

Well having been woken up at some ungodly hour by Dave (who also, I might add woke Emily, then promptly fell anto a deep sleep and left me literally "holding the baby") I thought I may as well use this time to allow my electronic babysitter (aka the delights of kids TV) to entertain a wide awake since 4am Emily while I update me blog. Having visited Mel on tuesday and been totally inspired by her rows of lickle bottles filled with pretty things and sitting neatly on shelves ... mum and I took a trip down to Ikea where I stocked up on bottles, hanging buckets & baskets and wee shelves for my scrap space in our new house....... Have I told you yet ?..... We've bought a wee house ... heehee ... and are looking to complete by end of October. I am beside myself with excitement and spending any free time drooling over the interior decorating books Jane has lent me (well I can dream can't I?). This week we are frantically sorting out stuff and downsizing our lives considerably ... as we are having to move from a 5bed/2 large reception rooms rented house to a teeny, weeny 3bed/1 reception ... BUT IT WILL BE OURS. Wooooooohooooooo. Yesterday afternoon was spent at Kings ... good news is everything on the scan looked GOOD ... and pending the results of the blood test I had done yesterday I shall be signed off from the clinic until a follow up scan in 2 years time .... woooohooo. (Altho .. I shall miss seeing Dr McDreamy ... who aside from being a fabulous surgeon & one of the most caring medical professionals I have met .. is also rather pleasing on the eye, ok I'll admit to having a teeny, tiny crush on my surgeon) Well folks .. that's all for now me thinks... so I shall leave you with some more pics from my hols ..... below we have .... Sian who is technically a cousin of mine (can't remember whether it is 2nd/3rd/once removed when one's cousins start having sprogs) but I shall refer to her as my neice as I have become a self appointed aunty to Janes girlies who I have fallen in love with since getting to know them this past week. Look at the BIG grin this little person puts on everytime she sees a camera - I was in my element I can tell ya!

And here we have a pic of girlies enjoying some rather garish looking pink ice-cream at Cardiff Bay - what a fab setting! And yes, Jane and I indulged too, Jane rather nobley sharing her vanilla scoop with Sian while I selfishly savoured every mouthful of my choc one ... mmmmmmm.

That is such a beautiful photo of Sian, Deb - she is a honey. Very excited about your house move - if we don't get down to see you before you move, we'll definitely be down to see the new house. I LOVE taking the time to re-organise my stash - little bottles and baskets sound like just the job. You'll have to take a photo once it's all installed at the new house :D xx
