So much to do, so lettle time to do it in ... but alway a spare minute to indulge in a little escapism aka bedtime/bath time reading (yup I read in the bath - #pure bliss#) Currently I'm reading The Secret Life of a Slummy Mummy ... what I want to know is ... when did Fiona Neil ever meet me? Huh? I could in some way (
washing mountains, tripping over toys on the stairs, unpaid parking fines, mislaid items festering away under the beds, etc, etc ) be reading my autobiography, well except for the flirtation with Sexy Domesticated Dad (I've not met any SDD at girls school ..yet). So my lovelies I shall share one of Lucys thoughts from this delightful book.
"It is one of life's great puzzles that the equation of men plus children invariably amounts to something greater than the sum of it's parts, enhancing the qualities of both parties, whereas the juxtaposition of women plus children generally leaves you in arrears. It is mostly aging, unsexy and messy."

On Saturday we had the first of our crops in Maidstone ...wow what a fab bunch of "ladies" hehehe (
make of it what you will). We had a really great day with lots of laughs and a little scrapping - we even recruited two new scrappers ...welcome to the dark side mwhahahahaha. The fabulous
Ann & Ally ventured all the way down from Enfield to pay us a visit (just have to say - these two gals are some of the most talented scrappers I know - their work erm, for want of a better word I'll draw on an Elsie'ism ... ROCKS ... pronounced RAWKS for all my non American friends). I spent most of the day chatting but in between that I managed to finish 1 or 2 layouts and start a few new projects. A few I can't share with you yet ... but the layouts below are thrown together from the box load of scrummyness sent from
