Knock, knock ....

Well it's been so long since I was last here I wasn't sure whether Mr Blogger would recognise me and let me in!!! But I'm here now and not quite sure where to begin the catch up on news post. Hmmm ... think this occasion calls for a summary :-The summer was a busy one with 14 visitors from 4 countrys coming to stay. The first being my lil' sis who had a 5 week "stopover" teehee on her way back to SA from the US. Wish our visits weren't restricted to a few weeks every couple of year #sigh# but such is life. While Melly was here we went up to spend a week with our darllin' cousin Jane and her gorgeous girlies in Cardiff. Despite our dreadful trip up (stuck on the M26 for 7 hours but thats a whole other story) we had the most FANTASTIC time. Here's a few lil' snapshots of the holiday.
I have hundreds more but think these lil' tasters will have to suffice for now. We managed to tempt Jane, Ffion and Sian down our way for a lighening stop visit too ... twas lovely to show her my lil' home ... still much loved and in dire need of interesting decor but nevertheless mine #big grin# We also managed to lure the gorgeous Ms Rudishoes (who I might add is looking FABULOUS) and her scrumptious girlies down our way. It's almost time for another visit Missus!!!!
Pic is of Melly & all the girlies in our local park.
Daves mum arrived from Zim at the beginning of September .. suitcase brimming with corn curls and biltong!! Melly left a few days later and then Glen, Annissa and our twin neices arrive from New Zealand. Such excitement in our lives to meet the girls for the first time and to see Glen & Annissa again after 5years!!! A week later Daves dad & Denise arrived to almost complete the family reunion (disappointingly Jack stayed in Zim as he was working). Kevin and Linda came up to spend a lovely day with us from Bournemouth with the delicious Luke and Naomie. I love that wee man to bits - he holds his own being the only boy out of 10 grandkiddies! Pic of the family en masse
I think on that note (next time we shall catch up on the back to school/first day/new jobs and scrapbooking news) I shall have to say Au Revoir for now dahlinks ... the mini hairdressers in this house are looking for victims so think of me kindly while my hair is being "done" and my eyes are watering!
Love you all madly
MWAH ..Dxxx
