Well, well ....

... it's been a funny old weekend in this neck of the woods. Emotions have been all over the place what with the high from the launch of the Design Collective and the lows from a few peeps who have taken upon themselves to run us down. The thing is I don't see them mentioning other paid for online classes so I'm guessing it's a more personal attack on the girls involved ... but hey - if trying to big yourself up by belittling others works for you huni ... whatever floats your boat! I've very honoured to be a part of this fabulous group of girls. We've worked hard in the background to make sure everything was in order and ready to go before we launched .. it has been a real team effort and I think we can justifiably be proud of what we have done! This is our business and I want to say a HUGE THANKS to all our friends and acquaintance to have shown us such encouragement and support over this weekend. #oh dear there go the emotions again ... pass us a tissue will ya?# Other than that it's been a quiet ol' weekend in the Jewell residence .. Hannah and Kate went off to the first party of their new school friends on saturday and had a ball. We have arranged a playdate for after school so I feel like we are really starting to settle down and make this house and town our home. Oh and it's our first crop on saturday .... weeeheeeeeeee I'm so excited especially because we have such a fab group of people joining us ... only 5 more sleeps! Have a happy monday dahlinks MWAH

Congrats on the new venture!!!

I have found lately that there are some pretty spiteful people in the scrapbooking world judging by things I have read.
I thought we were all joined together in an absorbing hobby but some folk get so jealous it is laughable.
I have also found (on certain sites) that if you aren't one of the "in crowd" people ignore your work!!!Seems a total waste of time posting work to share from my point of view.

Hey Debs!

Oh dear....there has always got to be a few rotten apples in the cart doesn't there? Lucky you've got the right attitude and those little people won't get you down!

All the very best for your new venture!

Well Done! I think it is a great idea, take no notice of the spiteful ones. I agree with Paula and tend to not post my work online so often anymore, apart from not getting comments because I don't 'know' people I have found my ideas being copied with no reference to my work - it is so annoying. Just had to get that off my chest lol :D

Your work is fabulous and I would think there are many people out there who feel the fee is a small price to pay for inspiration from such a talented bunch!
