Dare's Up ...

.... and this week's speshal is to create a layout a layout capturing the Simple Pleasures in life, and my oh my there are some amazingly beautiful creations ... go have a look because Every One is Speshal.

I really enjoyed doing this weeks dare especially because I love the photo. Not the best technically but very emotive. On this particular day we had our friends Louette & Matthew and Todd & Kelly and their girlies round for a BBQ (braai as they call it in SA) and the weather turned cold, miserable and wet .. cue the adults huddling under umbrellas or rushing indoors ... while the kids stripped off and danced in the rain and mud. (...it took my lawn 6 months to recover but was sooooooooo worth it). We have so much to learn about attitude to life from our children, don't we?

Products used: Mambi Chester Paper, Heidi Swapp Chipboard alphas, LIl' Davis Glitter paint on letters (the title shimmers altho' you can't see it in this pic), Rhonna Farrer 'swirls' and loads of foam pads.

Dance in life's rain my lovelies .. it's so much more fun than hiding under an umbrella.
