... 'cos I hadn't finished saying all the things I had wanted to say earlier ... oh and I had a few requests from those who know me as to how I was persuaded to go swimming on sunday.
First off though I want to say THANK YOU DARL' to Clare who very patiently talked me through how to add my banner to my new look blog. Let me tell you this gal is ace at explaining how to do things, so
that even a technophobe like me can get it right following her instructions. While on the subject of new banners ... the blossoms on my header are from a Rhonna Farrer digikit. (I can't remember which one but when I do I shall be back to update).
And now the tale of how I was persuaded to go swimming. My beloved offered to take the girlies swimming and I went along with him just as a changing room helping hand , you understand. BUT we when got there we discovered that as the girlies are still little h
e is only allowed to take 2 swimming at a time. Now believe me, as many talents as my darling daughters have ..patience is NOT one that any of them possess. Cue the distress levels rising alarmingly as to who will be the ones to go first. Then... my not so beloved.... husdand spotted a lil' shoppie selling costumes ... so bravely in I went and bought a marquee. (Please note at this point all the suits left in my size are unlined so I bought a size larger which, when on, offered very little of the bossom support required by a mother of 4 but nevertheless was NOT seethrough). Now dressed (if you caould call it that) ... I wrapped the towells (yes all six of them) securely about my person while I raced from the changing room to
the poolside, before dropping them neatly in a pile and making a mad dash for the security of the water. But if this wasn't enough of a humiliation ...as I'm waddling into the pool so the marquee is filling up with water and air ... well you can imagine the rest .... not a pretty picture I can tell ya!
And that my dahlinks ...is how I came to spend a sunday afternoon wallowing in the Leisure Centre pool.
Have a happy monday
MWAHPS These pics were not taken at the leisure centre yesterday as cameras are not allowed for obviously reasons ...but they're a good indicator of the enjoyment factor that results when you mix my girlies and a large body of water

he he he - I thoroughly enjoyed reading that - I am swimming with kiddies this afternoon and cant stand the walk down the poolside to get to the kiddies pool, with all those young slim life guards watching!!! Well no excuses now for another Jewell outing to the pool!
Pmsl, I loved the marquee story and can identify completely. I feel your pain hehe. Good of you though, I bet the girlies loved it having you going in with them rather than sitting on the sidelines.
Ooh, b'yoodiful new banner, darl - gorgeous photos of your girls :) - I can identify with the horror of wearing a swimsuit, too!!
