It's the little details ...
Hmmm dreadful blogger that I am I've not updated since saturday. Truth is .. half term is not as peaceful as I was hoping. Thanks to Mother Nature we have not ventured outdoors much other than to feed the ducks and have a run or two in the rain - so it's been days of crafts/barbies/hide & seek/beauty salons etc. Inbetween which I have been scrapping ... and hopefully after the weekend away I will have some layouts to share.
Now I love the little details we find in the ordinary things. Like childrens clothing for example ... I'm loving all the embroidered clothing in the girlies' wardrobes ..can't wait for them to outgrow them so I can cut them up and use them on my pages. Speaking of clothing and details ... there is a South African clothing maufacturer called Naartjie (tranlated into UK speak that would be Satsuma ...not quite the same ring to it though) that knows about the details. The make the most comfortable, wearable kids clothing with added little details to keep mums like me happy, like the felt flower on Sarah's shirt sleeve in this picture and thanks to my cousin Jane we have a stockpile of Naartjie clothing. #sigh... such bliss#
Well dahlinks, the sprogs are getting restless and I must away to feed my hungry horde.
Hope your Wednesday is wonderful.
MWAH

you know I always think that about the kids clothes, but when push comes to shove I can't bear to cut something that isn't worn out up as I feel bad about depriving someone less fortunate of my charity shop donations!
