Sleep eludes me ...
Thanks to Emily I have been up since 2am, it's humid and sticky here and my child will not sleep. So here I am, catching up with you. Only there's not that much to tell really, yesterday was long and stressful ... Sarah, Emily and myself we re having an "off" day together. Many tears and tantrums (..
and that was just me). Anyway we made it through the day, by the skin of our teeth I might add. Thank the good Lord Hannah came home from school in "Little Miss Helpful" mode yesterday afternoon. I really am a very lucky mummy and I can't help thinking they must wonder what they did wrong to land up with me. For example, both girls came wandering downstairs after bedtime last night to remind me to put a load of white washing in as they need clean school shirts ... do these lil' monkeys know me or what?! LOL Anyway school shirts and panties have been dutifully washed and shaken fresh out the tumble dryer (no ironing done here unless absolutely necessary). Emily is still bouncing round like the duracell bunny and I'm ready to crawl back into bed before the others decide to wake. I have phoned Dave in the vain hope he may be leaving work a little earlier so as to relieve me of to
ddler patrol for an hour or two but no such luck.
Well next week the visitors arrive and I'm torn between really looking forward to seeing everyone and stressing about all the stuff I need to get done/be doing in preparation for our move. Oh did I tell you I start work on Monday? .. it's kind of a new/old job in that I used to work at Holy Trinity Pre-School, gave it up when I was pregnant with Sarah and now that Emily's old enough to attend I have been lucky enough to have been offered my job back. I did try to convince Dave that I could have found something to occupy my time while the youngest were at school and I wouldn't have been bored/lonely ..honest! But it's nose to the grindstone and all that with my other half.
Well dahlinks, I won't keep you up anylonger with my meanderings, till later ......
